WBCS Prelims Result 2024 released at psc.wb.gov.in, How to check

The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has released the WBCS Preliminary Result 2024. Result PDF is available for download on the official website, psc.wb.gov.in, for candidates who have appeared in the preliminary written test .

After successfully completing the preliminary test, 4,690 students are eligible to take the mains exam. The WBCS Prelims test was held on 16th December 2023 at numerous exam venues.

WBCS Prelims Result 2024: How to Download

Step 1: Visit the official website, pcs.wb.gov.in.

Step 2: On the website, choose the Ads tab.

Step 3: Select the link that says “ROLL NUMBERS OF 4960 CANDIDATES WHO WERE PROVISIONALLY QUALIFIED FOR WEST BENGAL CIVIL SERVICES (EXE.) ETC FINAL WRITTEN EXAMINATION. EXAMINATION (PRELIMINARY), 2023.”

Step 4: Preliminary PDF results will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Save a copy of the WBCS Prelims Result PDF for future reference.

The WBCS Prelims answer key was made available on 23rd December 2023 and the objection window was opened till 5th January. The WBCS preliminary examination consisted of objective multiple choice questions (MCQs). The main test will comprise both objective and essay-based questions. Candidates must complete both phases to be considered for the final round of the selection process.

WBPSC Preliminary Exam is a screening exam. After this point, grades will no longer be used and will not be considered for final selection. Those who pass the preliminary exams can go on to take the main exam, which consists of six compulsory papers and two optional questions. Your main scores will be considered in creating the final merit list.
