Bypoll Results Live Updates: INDIA bloc wins 10 out of 13 seats, BJP gets 2; Kharge signals PM Modi’s “diminishing” credibility

On the West Bengal by-elections, CM Mamata Banerjee said, “Three out of four seats were BJP’s which have now been won by TMC… This victory is the people’s victory and I thank the people, we will dedicate this victory on July 21st…”

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge said the poll results were a “strong proof of the decline in political credibility of (Prime Minister) Modi and (Amit) Shah”. Hailing the results in which the INDIA block won 110 out of 13 seats, Kharge said, “This victory shows that people have now completely rejected the arrogance, misgovernance and negative politics of the BJP.”

The Opposition’s INDIA Bloc won 10 of the 13 seats where assembly polls were held this month. BJP won two seats and one seat (Rupauli from Bihar) was won by an independent candidate.

DMK candidate Anniyur Siva alias A Sivashanmugam won the Vikravandi (Tamil Nadu) seat with a margin of 67757 votes, according to Election Commission data.

DMK candidate Anniyur Siva alias A Sivashanmugam has won the Vikravandi seat in Tamil Nadu in the bypolls, reports said on Saturday. However, the Electoral Commission is yet to declare the results.

Live Poll Results: In Bihar’s Rupauli seat, independent candidate Shankar Singh won the bypoll defeating JD-U’s KP Mandal by a margin of 8,200 votes.

Live Poll Results: TMC has won the by-polls for all the four West Bengal Assembly seats. TMC candidate Supti Pandey defeated BJP’s Kayan Chaubey by a margin of around 62,000 votes from Maniktala Assembly constituency. The seat fell vacant in February 2022 after the death of Minister of State Sadhan Pandey.

Live Poll Results: The by-elections to the 13 assembly seats in seven states, held on July 10, were necessitated by the vacancies created due to the deaths or resignations of sitting MLAs from various parties. Many MPs from various states were elected to the Lok Sabha in the 2024 general elections.

Of the 13 seats that went to polls, BJP, Congress and TMC bagged two each, while one seat each was held by BSP, JD-U, DMK and AAP. Independents had taken the remaining three seats.

Live Poll Results: Independent candidate Shankar Singh leads Rupauli assembly constituency in Bihar. Singh is ahead of JD(U) Kaladhar Prasad Mandal by about 8,200 votes. RJD Bima Bharti is a distant third with about 30,000 votes.

Bypoll results live: Himachal Pradesh CM’s wife Kamlesh Thakur holds a roadshow in Shimla after winning the Dehra assembly seat.

The Congress won the Dehra Assembly seat for the first time on Saturday, defeating BJP candidate Hoshiyar Singh by a margin of 9,399 votes.

Live Poll Results: BJP candidate Kamlesh Pratap Shah has won the by-poll for Madhya Pradesh’s Amarwara seat. Shah defeated his rival, Congress leader Dheeran Das Invati by about 3,250 votes, according to the Election Commission of India.

Poll Results Live: Congress has won both assembly seats in Uttarakhand polls. Qazi Mohammad Nizammudin won the Mangraul bypoll by a slim margin of around 400 votes. In Badrinath too, Congress candidate Lakhapat Singh Butola defeated former MLA Rajendra Bhandari by a margin of over 5000 votes.

Live Poll Results: The results of 7 assembly seats which went to polls have been announced so far. Of these, the Trinamool Congress bagged three in West Bengal. Congress bagged two seats in Himachal Pradesh. Aam Aadmi Party won the only seat in Punjab. BJP got one seat in Himachal Pradesh, out of these 7 seats.

Live Poll Results: Congress wins two seats in Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s wife Kamlesh Thakur has won the Dehri bypolls in Himachal Pradesh. Congress candidate Hardeep Singh Bawa also won from Himachal Pradesh’s Nalagarh seat, defeating BJP’s KL Thakur by about 8,900 votes.

BJP candidate Ashish Sharma defeated Congress leader Pushpinder Verma by around 1500 votes in Himachal Pradesh’s Hamirpur seat.

Live Poll Results: TMC is all set to sweep all 4 seats in West Bengal. While Mamata Banerjee-led party won three seats, it was leading in only one seat.

In Raiganj seat, TMC leader Krishna Kalyani defeated BJP leader Manas Kumar Ghosh by over 50,000 votes. TMC’s Madhupurna Thakur defeated BJP’s Binay Biswas by about 33,000 votes in West Bengal’s Bagda seat. TMC leader Mukut Adhikari won the Ranaghat Dakshin seat by around 39,000 votes.

TMC was ahead in Maniktala seat as well.

Poll Results Live: Opposition INDIA Bloc has won 6 out of 13 seats in the assembly polls, the result of which is announced today, July 13. Out of the six seats, TMC won three in West Bengal, while Congress and AAP won one seat each in Himachal Pradesh and Punjabm respectively. BJP won one seat in Himachal Pradesh.
