Obituary for Marion Peter | July 11, 2024

G. Marion Peter (nee Tree), passed away in her 88th year at Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg, Ontario on July 11, 2024.
Loving mother of two sons, Rick (Karen) Peter and Scott (Madalena) Peter. Cherished grandmother of Sheena (Brian Peers) Peter and Alexandra Correia. Loving older sister of Jim Tree and Shirley (Randy) Wilson. Also survived by her brother-in-law, Andrew Peter, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Marion is predeceased by her husband Steve Peter (2019), granddaughter Leslie Boyce (2022) and her parents Helen (Groves) and John Tree.
Steve and Marion owned and operated Peter’s Trailer Sales, on Ingersoll Road, Woodstock, from 1963 to 1989. Both retired to camp and travel in their own RV. She was a resident of Cedarview Nursing Home for 8 years. I loved it there, she made friends, played euchre and watched Blue Jays games on her TV. Her health failed and she was recently moved to Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 2 to 3 p.m., where a service will be held in the chapel at 15:00.
