Amarillo Goodwill will host a free shred event on Friday

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Goodwill Industries of Northwest Texas will host a free day in Amarillo on Friday.

The community can bring personal documents, papers and files to be destroyed free of charge. Event organizers say there is a limit of four boxes per person.

The event will take place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 1904 Bell St.

Organizers say people should not remove staples or paper clips.
