Downtown on the Go, Tacoma Youth Symphony teams up for the walk | A&E

Downtown on the Go is hosting the latest edition of the Walk Tacoma series in partnership with the Tacoma Youth Symphony on July 10th.

Sponsored by Amazon and MultiCare, the Tacoma Youth Symphony and Friends Walk will be a half-mile walk through the downtown theater district, Antique Row and Opera House, starting at the Theater on the Square Plaza at 6 p.m.

Attendees can expect to hear live music, see various arts organizations, and receive free ice cream and popsicles provided by TYSA.

2024 marks the 15th anniversary of the Walk Tacoma series, which aims to promote locals walking around the city and exploring new places, according to a release.

For those unable to attend in person, the tour will be available for free on GeoTourist after the event.
