Body found near I-15 ramp in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A body was found near an on-ramp on I-15 in Salt Lake City Monday afternoon.

Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cameron Roden told ABC4.com the body was found between the on-ramp and the main flow of traffic. While details are scarce at the time of this writing, Roden said there does not currently appear to be any foul play involved.

Roden said the medical examiner was called to the scene near I-15 northbound at 1300 South.

It appears a person was looking for friends when they found the body, Roden said.

Officials did not immediately provide more information, but the investigation is ongoing.
