The Salvation Army will be handing out free fans in downtown Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – With temperatures in the 100s this week, the Salvation Army is aiming to help those in need stay cool.

On Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Salvation Army will distribute free fans at its Wichita Downtown Koch Center, 305 N. Market St.

The event is for the most needy, so to receive a free fan you will need ID, proof of income and a utility bill.
