Red Rock and Blue will hold 3 charity concerts this summer

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Red Rock and Blue, a local non-profit 501-c(3) charity benefiting military charities in Louisiana, is holding a series of concerts this summer in the Baton Rouge area. The series consists of three concerts throughout the summer. This first performance is scheduled for Saturday, July 13 at The Varsity Theatre. The lineup includes The Debbie Landry Band, The Drunk Uncles, Money Shot and ReGeneration. Tickets are available online in advance.

Saturday, August 3 at The Varsity Theater is the second annual Caterie Reunion show, with advance tickets also available online. A few limited VIP tickets are also available. The lineup includes The Chris Leblanc Band, Amos Moses, Zaemon and Kirk Holder. Proceeds for this event will go to The Louisiana Firefighters Foundation.

Red Rock and Blue Summer Concerts(WAFB)

The final concert in the series, “a patriotic salute to some of the monsters of American hard rock,” takes place on Saturday, August 17 at The Texas Club. Guns 4 Roses (Guns N Roses tribute), Blaze of Glory (Bon Jovi tribute) and Walk This Way (Aerosmith tribute) are all ready to play. Tickets are available online with limited VIP and reserved tables for four also available.

Red Rock and Blue typically donates $50,000 – $60,000 each year to local Louisiana military charities such as The Blue Star Mothers of Louisiana, Gulf Coast Veterans and others.

The 30th Annual RRB Charity Softball Tournament, the organization’s largest annual fundraiser, is set for July 27-28, 2024 at BREC Oak Villa in Baton Rouge. Team registration is open and can be done on Eventbrite. The deadline to enter a team is Friday, July 19 at 9:00 PM CST.
