I-43 was closed in both directions

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) says a full highway closure is underway on I-43. Lanes in both directions from Capitol Drive to Locust Street are closed for an investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD).

MCSO said its only involvement is highway management at MPD’s request. There is a heavy law enforcement presence on the highway.
