Police in Columbia are looking for suspects in connection with an incident on June 19

The Columbia Police Department (CPD) is searching for suspects in connection with a June 19 shooting incident.

According to a news release, CPD responded to reports of shots fired around 8:00 p.m. near the 1200 block of West Business Loop 70 on Wednesday.

There were no suspects at the scene when police arrived, but evidence of gunfire was confirmed in the area. Witnesses claimed to have seen a black man in a white shirt pull a gun across a silver sedan from the rear passenger window. No injuries or property damage were reported from the gunfire.
