Springfield police have released a series of photos taken from a security camera in hopes it will help them solve a burglary investigation.

The Springfield Police Department believes a man and a woman shoplifted from the Academy Sports and Outdoors store on West El Camino Alto Drive in south Springfield on May 1.

The man has a mustache and a thin beard along his jaw, according to police. He has sleeve tattoos on both arms, a tattoo on his right calf, and a tattoo in the center of his neck.

The woman in the Academy store surveillance photos has dark red hair, three tattoos on her left arm and a small, thin tattoo on her right forearm.

Anyone with information on the identities of either person should call the Springfield Police Department at (417) 874-1755 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 417-869-TIPS (8477) or online at p3tips.com.
