Moore Police will conduct training at Highland East Junior High

MOORE, Okla. (KFOR) — The Moore Police Department plans to conduct a mass training exercise at Highland East Junior High beginning Wednesday, June 19th.

The training is intended to prepare officers for mass casualty and active shooter situations.


Residents can see a heavy police presence, hear the sound of gunshots and see volunteers acting as victims on SE 4th Street in Moore as a result of the training.

Training is expected to continue until Friday, June 21.
