Genevieve M. Watkins, 80, of 237 E. Broad Street, Tamaqua, formerly of Lansford, died July 29, 2005, at St. Lukes Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale. She was the wife of the late Edward James Watkins. Born in Mount Carmel, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Maria Micolek. He was a telephone operator for the former Lansford Telephone Company. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Lansford. Survivors: She was the last member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward, and a sister, Honorata. Services: Private, to be held at a later date. No calling hours. Skrabak-Parambo Funeral Home, Lansford, is handling arrangements.
